Goher was born on 27 July 1983 in Lahore. He completed his early education from the same city. He has keen interest in music since his childhood. And dreamed to became a pop star. To purchase his first guitar, he sold his bike when he was just 16 years old. According to the official website of Jal band, due to restrictions of his Parents he used to hid the guitar under his bed. After his high school exams he faced an accident. And was limited to bed for a half year. On that point he did not lose hope. And started to learn music, notes, guitar and lyrics writing by himself. After that for his higher education he joined Punjab Institute of Computer Science. During his studies he performed many in music compositions at college level. And won all of them.
